Lonely

There is a particular kind of loneliness that comes from feeling misunderstood. You may feel like parts of you go unseen. Like even when you speak, you’re not fully heard. Over time, that can make you pull back. God understands that kind of loneliness. He knows what it’s like to be present and still feel alone. He doesn’t rush you to open up or demand vulnerability. He meets you where you are. You don’t have to explain yourself perfectly right now. You don’t have to make yourself more palatable or easy to understand. God knows your heart without translation. He listens without interrupting. He stays. Let that steadiness hold you for this moment.
